It's Fish🐟 Friday again here at the Doomstead Diner!  The weeks just seem to fly by these days.  ::)

Today in honor of the NEW Hurricane to be targeting Hawaii, we are having Mahi-Mahi🐟.  Mahi-Mahi🐟 is a fish🐟 I have never had, even on my trips to Hawaii.  Looks like it would have about the texture of Halibut🐟.

Also a Hurricane targeting the East Coast next week.  Looks like Surly might get another dunking.

It's Steak🥩 Saturday again here at the Diner, and I have RECOVERED from my Steak🥩 Overdose eating the leftovers from the failed Last Great Alaska Bucket List Adventure.  So tonight we're going to celebrate and enjoy a really BIG & JUICY grilled Porterhouse🥩.

Here IRL, I am actually grilling up a Porterhouse🥩 for tonight's dinner.  I marinated overnight in a Teriyaki-Cabernet-Balsamic vinegar marinade.  Yesterday, I whipped up about the best BBQ Baby Back Ribs I have ever made, absolutely fallin' off the bone DELICIOUS!  I actually ate almost half the slab myself last night.  :o  The rest I saved to feed my new Household Helper who is due over today to do some more cleaning.  I used a new 3-Stage technique for cooking these ribs which gives them the ideal amount of smokiness without drying out the meat.  TOP SECRET!

My Porterhouse🥩 isn't quite as big as the one pictured, but almost.  Around 24 oz.  I'll be eating Steak Sandwiches again for a few days.  ::)

For the first time in memory, we MISSED  :( the Sunday Smorgasbord today here at the Diner.  I had too many other articles to get up and then I needed a nap and forgot about it.  lol.

However, Sunday Supper is a good one today, featuring Smoked Pork🐖 Chops.  :icon_sunny:

That's a good looking Prime Rib🥩 slice.  :icon_sunny:  I'm working on a new SNAP Card Gourmet article about STEAK🥩.  I recovered from my OD on STEAK 🥩after the failed Last Great Alaska Bucket List Adventure consuming the Leftovers.  I was going to publish this week, but I think I need to write a Florence article for this week to be timely and Collapse Newsworthy.  The Steak🥩 article can age in the cooler.

I know many Diners prefer BACON🥓 as their Breakfast Meat, and in fact this was my favorite Breakfast Meat as well until I had to get rid of a whole mouthful of teeth ruined by Dental Criminals who laughed at me every day while putting on the Golf Course at the Country Club *I* paid for.  Now my favorite Breakfast Meat is Sausage, because the sausage machine chews it up for you!  No teeth left for the Dental Criminals to mess with now!

Here at the Diner, we have a vast variety of Breakfast Sausages you can order, we make our own.  :icon_sunny:  Particularly popular are Bankster Sausages, well spiced with Cayenne Pepper and Basil.

Various cuts of Pig Meat are the generally prefered Breakfast Meat among Diners, with Bacon probably in the lead followed by Sausage and Ham.

However, a very popular Premium Breakfast meal is STEAK🥩 & Eggs.  I think the Diner should have STEAK🥩 & Eggs as a regular menu item, but I am torn on what cut of BEEF🐄 and what preparation to use for this Signature Dish at the Diner?  ???  Fillet Mignon? 🥩 Prime Rib? 🥩 New York Strip? 🥩  London Broil? 🥩  BBQ, Sautee, Broiled?  Price, taste and texture all need to be considered in making this decision.  :icon_scratch:

You can vote your choice here in the thread before we settle on the decision.  Meanwhile, you can enjoy some Mexican STEAK🥩 & Eggs Rancheros on Special this morning.  :icon_sunny:
