The view needs to go to the right.
The road into the canyon is named Cerbat road.
The tan marks by the road has a wide spot. That is the millsite.

I moved it to the right.  I still see no tan marks though.  Are we centered yet?

The next frame needs to be more to the right & up some following Cerbat Rd & Cerbat Wash as the run parallel.
The stage stop is deeper into the canyon. The stage would have crossed the wash & taken the dirt path running with the wash to the right.
I know exactly what you mean. Let me tell you why youíre here. Youíre here because you know something. What you know you canít explain, but you feel it. Youíve felt it your entire life, that thereís something wrong with the world.
You donít know what it is but its there, like a splinter in your mind

Nice catch Ed.

In this vid check out the stripping in the rock as the camera pans down into the shaft.
You can just see the ore in the layers.

I read that paddlewheel steamboats went up the Colorado to Ft. Yuma in the 1850's. I never even knew about that. So glad you turned me on to that knowledge.. It seems like a forgotten time, almost. That was fuckin' frontier at that time. There 's a good story or a book there for someone to write.

I wonder what it was like to sail the Sea of Cortez back then. Probably a lot more fish.

Yeah, that's perfect.

You want me to Zoom in some more or get a ground level shot?  That's a pretty big area to go looking for lost gold.

Yes please.
If that's possible.
There are rock cabins along the wash.
The pad to the stagecoach stop property is still there.
There's a boat in the wash that somebody misplaced, it's close to the pad of the stage stop.

As long as there's water & fish/game, the desert is a nice place to hole up, back in the day.

Oh sure it's possible.  Is the spot you want to look at Dead Center here or how far to the right/left or up/down is it?  I can get in close enough to read license plate numbers.  Well, not quite, but almost.
