Great post, even watched the videos  (except the South Park one - seen it to many times)
The living fences really only work if you are quite a ways away from the local road. I let all the blackberries grow along the road but my house is not really defendable from a prepper standpoint. Have to go with the neighbors all looking out for one another. Gotta have the dinner party NOW.

AJ

Have it on/around the Spring Equinox.  I'm planning another trip down to the the Lower 48 for another Tombstone & Dental Adventure.  I'd love to cook for it.  :icon_sunny:

:icon_scratch: Come on. . .this can't be real. Somebody (hat's off to them) must have photoshopped this. It's to good. Love the ending though.
Thanks for finding it though.

Take that back. Knarf has the entire explanation posted and it appears this was a legit piece 50's TV. Wow, how fiction produces reality.  :o

Dude, Surly posted that story a couple of days ago. You're all late to the this twilight zone party.

It's like deja vu all over again.

That's OK, Not everybody reads everything every day.
If I had a nickel for every time I reposted something first posted by someone else, I'd have a major position in crypto.  :icon_mrgreen:

Same view here. No Big Deal and a compliment that two members find the same item of value.

As much as I live like an atheist, things like this are why I have never been able to fully discount that there are gods.... and that they like to fuck with us for shits and giggles.  :evil4:

Back in my spiritual day, I did speculate that artists had an inherent priestly nature and this is why, so often they prophesied or were prophets. Art historian and theologian,  Francis Shaffer pointed this out in that historically, great changes like medieval period through the enlightenment and onwards to modern times were often shown through master painters perspective shift long before the culture got there.

I speculate that the artists tendency to reach out into nothingness and drag forth creation, is the same roll as the ascetic priest. Artist are often known for their self destructiveness  and the closer they walk the line near death, they drag more truth from the other side. Thus artist as prophet.

Just morning coffee thoughts. Back to living like an atheist... and getting another coffee. And I think I should go get beer to get in touch with my inner prophet.  :exp-angel:
