Duterte Gets Spooked By Alphabet Soup Agency
« on: August 22, 2018, 02:25:21 PM »
Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte is thinking of dumping his smartphone over fears that the CIA is constantly eavesdropping on his conversations and might use his private information to eventually assassinate him.

ďI know, the US is listening. Iím sure itís the CIA, itís also the one who will kill me,Ē Duterte said in Cebu City on Tuesday, rejuvenating fears that Washington may seek his demise over his independent foreign policy and willingness to obtain weapons from other global suppliers.

I know exactly what you mean. Let me tell you why youíre here. Youíre here because you know something. What you know you canít explain, but you feel it. Youíve felt it your entire life, that thereís something wrong with the world.
You donít know what it is but its there, like a splinter in your mind

Maybe it's Google that wants him dead?

Maybe Duterte should wrap his head in tinfoil to keep the CIA from intercepting his brain waves.

Smart guy, Duterte is right.  The phone is a bugging device par excellence.  Microphones not good enough to eavesdrop would never make it into an approved FCC design.  Poorly microphoned phones could not be sold just as no phone can be sold which can't be turned on and off by a soft switch.  No hardware turn on / off allowed which can't be remote controlled, it is a national security issue.  FCC regulations.

Duterte knows damn well his big worry is a phone giving GPS location.  I'm sure many a sand-slime has met his end when his phone told a drone where to drop who would still be smelling the ass end of a camel today if he had only not charged his phone the night before he died.  Despotic heads of state would have knowledge of such things.  Perhaps Duterte would also be smart enough to know that his phone would not have to be GPS enabled itself if there were other phones nearby his which were.

"

Given how much the government now relies on drone strikes Ė and given how many of those strikes are now dependent on metadata rather than human intelligence Ė the operator warns that political officials may view the geolocation program as more dependable than it really is.

ďI donít know whether or not President Obama would be comfortable approving the drone strikes if he knew the potential for mistakes that are there,Ē he says. ďAll he knows is what heís told.Ē

Whether or not Obama is fully aware of the errors built into the program of targeted assassination, he and his top advisors have repeatedly made clear that the president himself directly oversees the drone operation and takes full responsibility for it. Obama once reportedly told his aides that it ďturns out Iím really good at killing people.Ē

The president added, ďDidnít know that was gonna be a strong suit of mine

How much bullshit can a dog take.  We are supposed to believe there is a cyber-connected action figure,

stashed in a kitchen cabinet in every home in America, but Duterte should not have more to worry about than a cold sales call from his local Red Lion wanting to talk about his mileage points????????

This is a joke right?

There are a lot of people who would like Duterte dead. Just saying that it's not just the CIA who can track his phone.
