Collapse Cripple Cart Adventures
« on: August 29, 2018, 05:22:10 PM »
I got a new mount for my Vidcam for the Cripple Cart and tried it out on the Cripple Van ride. Works GREAT!  :icon_sunny:

I will be starting a new I Spy Doom series with video from the Cripple Cart.  I promise future vids will be more interesting!

I am looking for a Title for this series.  I though of perhaps "Travels with RE", a kind of parody of "Travels with my Aunt" as one possibility.  Any other ideas out there?

I know exactly what you mean. Let me tell you why youíre here. Youíre here because you know something. What you know you canít explain, but you feel it. Youíve felt it your entire life, that thereís something wrong with the world.

Good choice for an Intro, but Utoob would pull it down for copyright infringement.  I would have to produce a duplicate, with a collapse spin.  Maybe I can convince Surly to produce one for me.  :icon_sunny:

I not "the guy" when comes to picture shows.

I do have a question regarding your use of the term "springtime".

Los Algodonas B.C. meh-he-co "springtime" & Alaska Springtime are polar opposites.

If you could narrow down the time lapse between February springtime L.A. B.C. & Alaska May springtime. We'd all be on the same page.

In the Northern Hemisphre where all these proposed Road Warrior Adventures are supposed to take place if I am still above ground level and can tough it out with my disabilities, "Springtime" hits the same time everywhere, although with somewhat different effects in any given locale.  The Spring Equinox comes on March 20, 2019.  This is a little too early to go for a crossing of the Al-Can in SaVANnah, too much potential for a big snow event and she does NOT sport 4WD.  So the earliest I Put to Sea here would be around May 1st, putting me in the northern end of the Lower 48 by mid-month.  After that, I drive whichever way the wind blows.  This is real tough it out for a cripple like me, I intend to do most of it on my own without the help of "healthy" people who really do not help you much at all anyhow.  A loner cripple has to depend on himself, not healthy people to help him, they are not reliable.  If I am in any kind of shape at all beyond being bedridden, I will undertake it no matter how much it hurts or how slow I gotta move to get it done.  I won't quit until I am well and truly dead.
