Giving Food to the Homeless Shouldn’t Be a Crime !
« on: November 10, 2018, 12:42:48 PM »

By Carey Wedler

Government has long been characterized as inept. It’s easy to forget that sometimes it can be downright cruel.

The latest example comes from Missouri, where the Kansas City Health Department is under fire after employees bleached food intended for the homeless because the people supplying it did not have the proper permit.

On Sunday, officials from the health department, accompanied by armed police officers, stopped volunteers with Free Hot Soup Kansas City from feeding the homeless at four locations, claiming the food had not been inspected.

I know exactly what you mean. Let me tell you why you’re here. You’re here because you know something. What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world.
You don’t know what it is but its there, like a splinter in your mind

The only unforgivable crime in this country is to be poor.

Quite true at the moment.  However, I am leading edge on this.   :icon_sunny:  Come the revolution, the only crime will be to be rich.  Rich people will die by the truckload.  The richer you are, the guiltier you are.  Coming soon to a Theater near you.

The Capitalist Manifesto: Let Poor People Die
« Reply #3 on: November 11, 2018, 12:22:44 PM »

The original Capitalist Manifesto was a 1958 book by economist Louis O. Kelso and philosopher Mortimer J. Adler. In their view of a properly conducted democratic capitalist society, a sort of modern-day Homestead Act was envisioned, in which all Americans would participate in the “capitalist revolution” of growing stock portfolios. This would be possible because of great technologies (energy in the 1950s, AI now) that would allow all of us, in Aristotelian and Jeffersonian property-owning ways, to become ‘free’ to pursue the arts & sciences and to enjoy more leisure time. Today, this form of democratic capitalism could be realized through the Employee Stock Ownership Plan promoted by the “Just Third Way” movement.
