It is Saturday night here.

Up here at this old lodge, which I love, that means tonight's dinner will be a nice big buffet with boiled shrimp, whole baked salmon with capers an dill sauce.....prime rib, and a choice of desserts. I made reservations for 6:30 to beat the crowd.

Maybe a couple of hundred people are here, and we will dine with friends and perhaps some strangers at big tables in the dining room, which has a fantastic view of the Wasatch range. New Year's Eve there is usually a torchlight parade down the mountain, but they are calling for the coldest weather in 40 years.

Sounds like a fabulous New Year's.  Must be great Deep Power Skiing now with the snow and frigid temps.

GET SOME PICS AND VIDS!

Another of S & G's Greatest Hits, again from the Concert in Central Park, which I attended.  You can find me on the Central Park West side of the Sheep Meadow making out with a girl I met at the concert.  :icon_mrgreen:

The Nips are the Kings of Appetizers.  Sometimes I think they don't eat anything BUT appetizers.  For this morning, we're having a very Christmassy one.

No Doomer Music Festival would be complete without this classic tune from Barry McGuire

When I used to drink Sake years ago, there didn't seem to be many choices. Now you can be a Sake snob.  I don't think the stuff we used to get was exactly top shelf. It was okay hot, but cold, not so much..

Now we have a reasonably good sushi joint a couple miles from the house. They must have 20 kinds and my daughter drinks it and they serve it in a wooden box. Who knew?

I still prefer it hot.  Never had it out of a wooden box though.

It's time for something healthy and light after gorging ourselves shamelessly like Romans at a feast.

I've prepared a scrumptious baked cod dish enhanced with that most wonderful and healthy sauces, pure fresh lemon juiced adorned with slices of the lovely citrus delight.

Note those beautiful pockets in the fillet with flaky cod walls of heavenly pure North Atlantic Treasure, delicate and loaded with Nature's Omega oil health gifts. GO is not only one of the world's great chefs but a doctor of food health as well. Not that I haven't wished at rare times that I were an Ordinary man.

Enjoy my Diners, and understand that it is Dr. GO not Master chef GO preparing this meal for you.

No, No frigging booze with this meal as well!

Remember I said Dr GO rather than Chef GO. I meant it.

If any group needs their liver and kidneys flushed out before their plans for tomorrow night, it's this group I prepare my specialties for. Trust Me, Chef GO is the greatest of the Master Chefs, he prepares medications and preps for his customers, cooking for their health at times as well as their Epicurean tendencies. Enjoy! :icon_sunny:

Perrier with fresh lemon lime or both only!

That's a Direct Order from the Chef. Doctors Orders :D
