It's all those hoity-toity garden parties and gallery openings we rich people attend.

Like kings,we have to know these things.

Getting closer to Diner 7th Anniversary Day Feast!  :icon_sunny:

In this video, we get the Diner Grade A USDA Prime Ribey ready for cooking and consumption by the meat-o-sauroses.

Only thing left is the actual cooking of this slab of cow flesh before the consumption.

A great and EZ Recipe for your next party, or just while stuck snowbound in your Doomstead surfing the internet.  A little fun here with a cool cooking tool also, and a discussion of Imported foods and what won't be available after SHTF Day.  And no, I do NOT use the Food Processor I made the Liver Pate with.  This device is even cooler.  :icon_sunny:

🍳 Diner 7th Anniversary Breakfast: Vegan Omelet Part 1
« Reply #34 on: February 14, 2019, 03:56:50 AM »
You've already seen the climactic moment of the Omelet creation in Part 3, but for the Vegans here I felt it important to see the whole recipe and creation process.  Part 2 will go up tomorrow for the complete set.

For Diners, this video is also notable because it gives more of the history of the Great Alaskan RV Adventure I took with Eddie, and even features some cheese I used on that trip for making Quesadillas!  Still good!  I bought that cheese in around Aug of 2017!

On a technical level for this one, you'll note the early vids I made were lower in quality. (this was one of the first)  I switched to one of my better cameras than the El Cheapo and we're getting much higher quality vids now.

Also, this is another meal done on the Emergency Bugout Electric Hotplate.  :)

Hope you enjoy the vid!  :icon_sunny:

Guess what?  Part 1 of the Vegan Omelet has ZERO views!  lol.  Not a single Diner is interested.

I am unloved.  :'(

Here's Part 2 anyhow to complete all 3 Parts to this series.

You could enhance the viewership by focusing your camera. WTF? No one wants to look at nine minutes of out of focus video.

Holy Fuck.  If you would read, you would know that this was one of the first vids I did, and I was using El Cheapo camera.  It has numerous things going wrong with it, but I was very attached to it.  Among the things wrong is the auto-focus jams up.  So does the Zoom.  After this set of vids I finally retired El Cheapo, and now I am mainly using my Pocket Powerhouse Sony, as well as my JVC Vid Sports Cam.  The current vids are all in focus.  Go Fuck yourself.  Sorry.

Why do you make and post these videos? I would imagine to get people to watch them. How many people clicking on an out-of focus video are going to sample another? Every shitty consumer experience vitiates your brand. Maybe you don't care, but I sure don't know why, unless you're just too far gone to care.

Fuck you, too. Happy Anniversary, shithook.

At least now you know why you have zero views.

That video has zero.  The other videos have positive numbers.  Give it time. I'm still working on the technical details, sets and costumes.  Still training my CHs as Sous Chefs also.  You expect me to build Rome in a day?  Be a little patient!

Maybe people don't like omelettes made with the meat of Vegans.

Sounds kinda barbaric. Where do you get Vegans to butcher? Isn't that an ethical problem?

I mean now, not after Fast Collapse.

It'll probably gain popularity then, as a tasty alternative to Spam.

My intention is not to bust your balls, although that has been a hobby of mine over the years. It's just that people pay me to tell clients the difference between good and bad. A bad message can do a business more harm than good.

Your content is worthwhile and you're a good storyteller, and your videos deserve to be watchable. You might also take note of production technique fr social media cooking videos, in which people use time-lapse or time compression to elide repetitive chopping or prep segments. I didn't make these rules; I just observe them.

I guy I know says, "People used to read the internet; now they watch the internet."
