You have been in my bug-out machine.  I'll be running but not because it is slow.  That it is not.

A Mercedes does not qualify as a Bugout Machine.  Too cramped for sleeping (especially for YOU!  I might get away with it, for a while).  Also little room for Preps.

That was my point, I'll be running you are right.  I like being in it, it is comfortable and waiting in it with a book for someone, cup of Java in the cup-holder is sweet.  Comfort and good lighting great sound.  But sleeping is impossible in the seats, yet they are comfortable.  It is:

 

strange.  And a bug out machine it is not.  Speaking of which,  I bet I could find one in Seattle cheap these days.

You can usually find a pretty good used one for $5K-10K, circa mid-late 90s.  If you want a newer model, $15K-$25K.  Of course, you'll need to clear your driveway of a few of the junk carz cluttering it up. lol.

You could also set up your Electric Bike with a bike trailer and equip it for Bugouts with tent, sleeping bag, cooking gear and some freeze dried food preps.  Limited carrying capacity of course, but it has the advantage if you don't GTFO of Dodge first and beat the traffic, you can slip around it.  Also faster than running and you can carry more than just a backpack.
