Great Blue Heron (Finally) Captured on Film
« on: March 09, 2015, 05:08:16 PM »
I've seen this bird for years along the creek, out at the stead. Today I caught him enjoying the rainy day, after I got off work.

Hope flickr links are working today.

Magnificent.

Kind of a pale blue, yes?

Great Blue Heron Captured on Digibits

Can't embed or D/L the Flickrs, so I Googled up another one.

Also, NOT really captured "on film".  When was the last time you bought a roll of Kodachrome?

To my eyes this guy was shades of grey. The ones here don't seem to be as blue as the pic RE posted.

EDIT: On your flickr, go to the 'view all sizes' option, pick the size you want to post and right click it. click 'view image' and it will give you a web page that you can use on the forum.

Thanks for the hint.  Actually, I found they do provide BBcode for sharing too!

Cool. I think I finally got it. Of course, I probably won't remember how I did it.

This is not a heron.
