In An Unrigged World: Here's How A Record S&P Close Was Manufactured
Tyler Durden
4/24/2015

Judging by the action today, all that mattered today was 2117.39 - that is the S&P 500's previous closing record high from March 2nd. One glimpse at the charts below and the VIX-slamming is evident (especially at the close) as each time it came close to losing the record high, a miraculous deep-pocketd volatility-seller stepped in...

Look at the open in VIX too!

So someone bought, and someone sold, and someone cancelled, and then a small number moved in a small way. I'm uncertain as to the point of this particular conspiracy. Creating a single day effect for happy-happy joy-joy feelings, even though obviously this can't happen every day and is irrelevant in the greater scheme of things?
Sometimes one creates a dynamic impression by saying something, and sometimes one creates as significant an impression by remaining silent.

Welcome to the new normal.

Yep. And have you heard, a new "Federal" Reserve Fiat Dollar is going to replace the old one in, according to the latest rumor, October. THAT bit of MEGA FRAUD (see the "math" on "variable" conversion rates depending on whether you are a bank or a citizen inside or outside the USA...  ).
will be a putrescent wonder to behold.

When this financial volcano blows the only thing that will be replacing the dollar will be real toilet paper.
