More Spin on the Finicum Shooting
« on: February 10, 2016, 11:10:45 AM »
Mostly about Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer. Apparently it was Finicum's intent to reach a pre-planned rendevous with Palmer when he got stopped.

 FYI.

Another piece that quotes the people in the truck and what they say about the original stop, parts of which seem to be missing from the released video.

This piece is similar to the last one, but says Finicum tried to "drive around the roadblock", which doesn't seem to be supported by the video.

According to this, they let one car go past the roadblock before the Finicum shooting. This story also has Ryan Payne as having been shot while still in the truck, at the original stop. He is then supposed to have stepped out and had words with officers, before he jumped back in and Finicum took off.

Ryan Payne is someone who was accused of being an agent provocateur by some in the past. Wonder why they didn't kill him when they had the chance? Now he's a hero to some. Interesting.

This is another video analysis of Finicum's shooting. By taking a slightly wider view, this one shows the shooters. It appears he was somewhat protected on one side by the truck until he stepped to the rear of it, where the first shooter fired just as soon as he had a visual. After that, it was a race to see who could pump the most lead into a dying man.

I don't care for the music. But read the comments under the video.

With additional image stabilization processing on the video (and the introduction of additional artifacts), I don't much like the video. More of interest are the comments. I find it interesting that the first commenter has been doing his own analysis and finds 68 missing frames. As does another who finds edited frames obscuring out the shooting of the passenger. This agrees wholly with the analysis of the video by Peter as revealed thus far.

On YT, the OP says, "Since this video was annotated it has come out that LaVoy was shot at least 9 times." Where has this "come out?" The physical evidence would tell a compelling story, and I find it remarkable that the family has not yet released the results of their own independent autopsy.

It's pretty clear that the "unedited" FI video is anything but.

This is a long rant by a guy who claims to be a retired cop. He might be considered EXTREMELY racist, but he raises excellent legal points, imho.
