Would greasy slimey fingerprints on the black mirror muck up the bots ability to use this tech to identify homo sushi ?

I have no expertise here, but assume that to the extent that the system uses camera phones, anything that inhibits the camera's ability to see would thus interfere with facial recognition. Hong Kong protesters are using lasers to interfere with police camera and drones.
