Flapjax did all the Illustrations, I just laid out the panels and wrote the text for the Strip. I do not have any Artistic Talent for drawing myself.  I have 7 of them, some are really hilarious (IMHO. LOL)  Now that DD here is off the ground, I'll see if I can contact him again to restart the Strip.

You will note that I have COPYRIGHT on this.  Mr. Hypocrisy!  ROFLMAOPIMP.  Registered in the Library of CONgress and everything!

Loved the cartoon. More, more!

And, yes, copyright is a two-edged sword. Ask the person who creates original content.

Since I only have 7 of them, I'm going to sprinkle them out slowly unless/until I get back into contact with Flapjax and we get it going again.

The main reason I got the Copyright was just to make sure I had some control over the DD "franchise".  I also now "own" both the dot org and dot com URLs so it's pretty well established as "my" Intellectual Property.

No worries at the moment here of course, the whole concept hasn't taken off sufficiently to make it a target for theft anyhow.

Also Jb, first guess correct, BRING YOUR OWN FOOD.

Good Newz! :multiplespotting:

I found Flapjax's email addy in one of my boxes and have emailed him to see if he wants to restart the Comic Strip.  I do not know if he is still using the box, but it didn't come back as an invalid email addy so hopefully he is still using it.

I will let you guys know if I get a response.  Keep your fingers crossed! :eusa_dance:

(I'm going nuts with all the Smileys Peter has added here :LolLolLolLol: )

Do not get tempted by the root of all evil RE, now that you are the copyrighted owner of your own domain your Lordship. Satan takes many forms to tempt us. Don't forget what he did to Adam & Eve. Being cast out of Tristan da Cunha into Madison Avenue would be just horrible!   :icon_mrgreen:

I just finished scripting up a new installment of the DD Comic Strip, the first new one in 3 years.  Sent it off to Flapjax for Illustration  It probably will take a while for him to draw up, as there are many panels involved.

I will tell the Mod Squad here that I am developing all the New Charaters for the strip with this one.  Flap doesn't know you all yet as well as he knew the Peak Oil characters from the old days, so it may take some time to get right.

Great cast of characters here though, and mostly I think you all will enjoy it when it gets done.  Except Nobody, she will likely get pised off at me AGAIN, for the 50,000th time. LOL.
