December 19th (today) -- Electoral College Day
« on: December 19, 2016, 09:16:47 AM »
I put "(today)" in the title because the odds are that today will pass and nothing will be out of the ordinary with regard to the path of donald effing trump becoming president of the USA.  (Yes, his middle name is effing.)  But there is a slight chance that history will be made today and the Electoral College will pull a switcheroo.  If this happens we will be talking about it for more than just "(today)".   We'll see.

Yes, heart attack, an Oswald appearance by a looney, or a plane or auto accident will be the only thing the cry baby Lefties have left after today to pull their puds and dream about.

Well its another kick the can down the road opportunity.  If dems weren't and impotent facade it'd be civil war.  I'd say the chances look pretty slim.  The CIA would have pushed alot more fake news if wit was really gunning for a coup.  So kick the existential crises down the road.  To a new global gilded age we go!   Won't it be fun to see what the robber barrons can do with total survelliance, AI, memetic tracking, drones, and a shredded constitution?

I thought trump himself represented an appearance by a loony.  I don't favor Hillary, either. But Hillary isn't fucking Godzilla come to destroy all human sense and intelligence, the way trump is.  That's why I capitalize her name and refuse to capitalize trump.  Have you SEEN the people trump has appointed to cabinet and other important government positions?  This is so irresponsible, so outrageous, so over the top insane! that trump is showing himself to be incompetent by virtue of thumbing his nose at logic, science, reason, facts, truth and yes even the American Way, ... unless you want the American Way to mean ("Just push the people in the gutter and tell them to fuck off").

It is trump himself who is the loony.

I generally don't gamble at all.  So I'm unsophisticated on the handicapping thingy.  If you're betting against me, and I put in ten bucks into the pool -- and your odds are 10:1 ... well, how does this work exactly? In the simplest terms?

You may find having a scary clown in the White House humorous, but I do not.

Yes, both candidates the "two parties" put up were bad, awful, miserable, crappy....  But one was competent, while the other is not.  The incompetent one became president, and he will make a (an even bigger, worse) joke and a mockery of an institution which admittedly is already a bit of a mockery and joke.

Also, and very importantly, Hillary (who I don't like) would have at least pretended that she gave a shit about the future of the Earth vis-a-vis the EPA, etc.  That's the American way; it's our tradition!  Now we have a man with turds on the brain who won't play the nice game of pretending that he cares at all about that quaint little ol' thing which some call our home. Earth, in case anyone has forgotten.  trump intends to frack the fuck out of every last drop and smidgen and blast the rest into the stone age.  It used to be said that "A good injun is a dead injun."  For trump, it's "a good planet is a dead planet."
