Larry McMurtry, RIP
« on: March 26, 2021, 05:56:27 PM »
Probably the very best novelist to ever come out of Texas. Incredibly good. Very prolific. I have only read a fraction of his work.

The Last Picture Show is my favorite, and it was made into the best Texas movie of all time, with my favorite actor, Ben Johnson, who played the character of Sam the Lion.

What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well.

Under ideal conditions of temperature and pressure the organism will grow without limit.
