Waste of electrons

What makes anyone think that a billionaire hotel/casino developer running for President is going to tell the truth about what he's going to do?

She's an improvement over Michelle Obama, that's for sure.

Best first lady since Jackie.

LOL... what makes anyone think HE knows what he's going to do?  I think he is being honest, in that he never expected to get to be the front-runner when he started, so he didn't have a detailed plan worked out ahead of time, he's just making it up as he goes along.  And, if he changes his mind when he gets in Oval Office, well, that's just being honest, too  :evil4:

Oh, and that picture is being put out by people who want Trump to win, right?

Illogical question. Nobody seeking and achieving the office of President of the United States tells you the truth on what they are going to do. Therefore, it is no more a requirement of the office than being born on a different planet.

Click bait.

It's a rhetorical question, anyway. She's cute, but look at what life with The Donald turned the ex into. Just sayin'.

The same thing that makes anyone believe that anyone else knows what they are going to do. They BELIEVE. It is all that is required.

Maybe. Maybe not. A gender difference alone could change the answer to that question. But better her than Michele certainly. Or Hitlery.

Is that really Ivana before and after? Looks like Maples before, and Ivana after?

And Eddie, this school you sent your kids to. Really? Built on top if a hill, packed together so tight you can barely get a vehicle around the roads inside the borders of it, and a bitch to find anything. And then they put the athletic facilities a mile or two elsewhere. It looks as though they built it up patchwork over the years, appears modern construction from the outside, I like the flavor of the old town, but then you've got this modern monstrosity packed in like a rabbit warren for the children.

Was it once older and quaint, I could see that, small place on the hill, would have been beautiful older buildings and whatnot, with flavor and history. And then  someone went and built...THIS.

My opinion only of course, can't tell the daughter, she might love the place, and I am discovering that modern colleges build for the kids they have, not the ones me and Kunstler and Trump might have wanted decades in the past now, where things other than the on campus Starbucks ratio is X per number of children, or like UTA there is a Nike store right beside the gymnasium for the kids who quickly need a new pair of $200 shoes to match their work out outfit.

Tech was better, still has the old architecture even if insides have been remodeled for modern HVAC and wiring for networks and such. More open as well, like that about it and A&M. UTA was packed in pretty tight, but more thoughtful compared to this place.

And for the record, anyone who wants to pretend BAU isn't functioning just fine, come park your ass along I35-S, an hour AFTER rush hour, and count all the machines that didn't collapse as they speed by at 80 mph, full of fuel and places to go because they can't find collapse either.

Please, Ivana trump is 67 years old. the picture of her compared to one of her in her youth is most Unkind, Unflattering and Unfair.

I respectfully protest this type of posting on the forum which, IMO, is National Enquirer material. Who here looks like they did forty years ago?

Respectfully protest...there's a new one.  Imho Ivana might look fine without all the silicone. Inquiring minds want to know.

The salient point, if there is one, might be that The Donald trades in women like some of us do cars. He has a physical type that appeals to him...late twenties, blond, and nice teeth.

Daughter liked it. I liked San Marcos. Old town homey feel to it. Would probably be a sleepy little town if it wasn't for the school.

Oh..and tell RE when he comes into Texas to investigate doom to add TX-71 near the airport to his list of places to study how collapse can often look like construction of huge infrastructure projects run amuck. Was able to mostly avoid Austin itself, which I consider a good thing, until collapse causes more roads to be built to solve the traffic problems.

The thing is, you're looking at all the growth here, and not considering that it's the result of massive demographic shifts in population that have everything to do with collapse. Tons of people here are here because they're bailing out of California, Michigan, Illinois, and various other high tax, low job security states.

I expect Texas will continue to be one of the places people decide to migrate, as long as we have enough water, and especially as long as the tech industry doesn't go bust. At some point, the bad will outweigh the good and a net outflow will happen. But those tend to happen fast, if the past is any indicator.

I don't think Ivana looks too bad for a woman in her 60s or so I think now.

Far as The Donald doing wife trading like car trading, he has the money to do that.  He seems to get around 10 years out of the average wife, which is more than the 5 years you get out of the average car. His Used Wives don't do too bad in divorce settlements, and with the $10-50M Donald drops on them in the settlement, they can afford as many Boy Toys as they want in their declining years.
